So yeah, as i promised a comedy movie in the weekend, here it comes!

Filefront has screwed me
Right, I dont know why, but my account on filefront has been wiped out, so I am going to re-upload all my movies to a diffirent streaming site.
Akcope 2 and 3 are already uploaded on Vimeo and the streams are working, gonna sort the rest of the movies during the week.

Akcope 4 recording, Day 4
Just to sum up the last days of recording - I have got a LOT of usable clips, but I have noticed that there is a lot of face smashing lower levels and using bubble in every clip etc… The good fact is, that it often is 1v7 etc.
Anyhow, after realising that, I decided that I will take no more AV clips, and will focus on WSG and AB, where I will fight high levels. Already got a clip of me killing 3 level 65+’s. I will try to make the movie the best quality possible.
Also, the movie probably will not be called Akcope 4, as it is not of my level 80 character on which all these movies have been made. Not sure about the name yet, but as soon as I make one up, I will let you know.
Last thing - I have recently recorded and finished a comedy movie, it will be coming shortly in the weekend - Stay tuned!
Akcope 4 recording, Day 1
So as I promised, I finally started, and got to record something today. Let me tell you something about the movie.
This will be my first movie recorded with Fraps, I had to reduce the gfx settings of wow so my PC could take it, until now, everything was recorded on gamecam, so it had pretty shitty quality, but that is not the case of this movie.
The movie will be a paladin one, but it will feature my level 60 paladin twink. He has the top gear and no longer obtainable mace Might of Menethil, so the movie will feature some nice faceroll.
This alt is on Magtheridon-EU, it is a server which has pretty nice 60 activity in it, and I have migrated here from my main’s server Thunderhorn, where the twink activity has gotten too serious, everyone goes engineering and that is just not the fun anymore.
I got 4 clips for the movie from today’s recording, of which i will definetly use at least two, I might not use the other two after reviewing for the best possible quality of the movie, but I need to think about that first.
I will also release a small trailer a week or so before the release of the full movie, so look forward to the movie, if you like faceroll critting and 5v1 situations, probably with some nice editing!

WCM 3.0
So when I logged on WCM today, I was really surprised, after these 4 years of visiting WCM, it has changed it’s design drastically. Let me just review the changes and tell you which ones I like and which ones i don’t and why.
WCM has been one of my most favorite sites for years, and I know that it’s trying to improve, but not all these steps are going the right way. So let me spit out the negative commentary first.
1) The layout
Right, this is something that I don’t really like, changing the layout after x years of using a diffirent layout can just shock the community after being used to the nice layout we had until now.
Next thing are some new windows; it is not really useful to add something like “Being watched now” at the stake of lucidity of the side, it just adds more windows, which aren’t going to be useful to the users in any way.
Also, talking of useless thing’s, we get to see less useful stuff now, for example, the “What’s HOT Today?” list is a LOT shorter now, at the stake of us having class icons instead of words - it is not too hard to read the class types; in fact, I think that having class icons might be a problem for newcomers to WoW. Anyway, make the “What’s HOT Today?” at least as big as it was, and use the space on right for that movie type menu instead.
2) Movie Browser
This is a total rip-off from youtube, hierarchy of most downloaded today/week/month/all time is just wrong. I know that some might like it, so if you plan to keep it, at least PLEASE remove the all time button; this button should be under something like a Hall of Fame or something. Same with top rated.
3) Arena, and Dungeon
I actually like these two bookmarks, no whining there, love how you can see everything easily, especially in the dungeon bookmark, everything is in a great hierarchy.
4) Design
Over all, i like how it’s graphically done - the windows, backgrounds, etc. Not such an important thing, but it is nice for the eye.
5) The profile page
This is probably the thing I like most. It shows all the important information about the user to everyone, the activity log and the released movies are big and easy to see, again, no whines there, you have my big support on this one.
So overall it is not that bad, but the homepage layout and browse movies are just horrible :(, so it still needs some changes. I believe that the great crew of WCM will hear out the voices and change it to what people want!
I, the ret, approve 3.2
People whine whatever they get, yes. But what most do not realise, is the insane potential and FUN that the 3.2 ret has to offer. Let me explain.
- Exorcism: Now has a 1.5 second cast time, but can once again be used on players.
Now, this is a great damage boost to us, the biggest buff in the patch, it is a great opener, makes you think twice before you use it, and it is even made instant by AoW.
- Hand of Reckoning: Redesigned. Now does damage only when target does not currently have the caster targeted, but damage done increased to 50% of attack power, occurring after the taunt effect is applied.
So, I’m not sure if this is usable in PvP or not next patch, but i can say: if it works, then it is FREAKING AWESOME! A non-gcd ranged spell that if used right crits for 4000, what else would you want.
- Crusader Strike: Damage reduced to 75% weapon damage to match the new 4 second cooldown.
Nothing much to say here, lesser burst, same damage, which is good anyway in the current state of PvP.
-Seal of Command: Redesigned. This seal now deals 36% weapon damage on every swing, and deals substantially less judgement damage.
Awesome, no more self damage, the oldschool SoC days come back.
-Seal of Vengeance and Seal of Corruption: These seals have been redesigned to deal substantially more damage. Now, once a paladin has 5 copies of the debuff from these seals on his or her target, on each swing the paladin will deal 33% weapon damage as Holy, with critical strikes dealing double damage.
Are you FREAKING KIDDING ME? Crits dealing DOUBLE DAMAGE, plus a DoT??? If this seal is used well, it becomes a true killer.
-Art of War: Now only applies to melee critical hits, but will make your next Flash of Light or Exorcism instant.
A slight nerf, but reasonable as it makes Exorcism instant as well.
See, it’s not that bad after all, after re-evaluating everything, is it? I am sure that many will share my opinion

Some of you probably have been wondering why your comments on my blog don’t get approved, and that’s simply because i have some spammy bots giving me ~40 spam & phishing comments a day and I simply cba to filter 40 comments a day 
Ill re-enable the comments when I find out what to do about it.
A little acheivement development
Hi again, I should probably mention that I’m an achievement madman before… well.. I love them, and I was bored of all these casual achievements or achievemens that you got to do in groups of 10/25 people and made a few of my own ones. I have had the idea of a new crazy achievement category, say it went live, patch notes would look like this:
Crazy Achievements are coming to Azeroth!
New incredibly hard challenges are awaiting the achievement hunters in patch 3.2! These mostly solo only achievements are extremely difficult to complete, are worth 25 achievement points each and most of them will individually reward you with a non-combat item. Each of these achievements found in the Crazy category is also found in the category it normally fits in, but they are in golden dragon frame (Similiar to elite monsters) to indicate that they are the ones that require special attention to complete.

I walk alone
With walk mode turned on, hike from Darkshore to Silithus without turning walk mode off.

At time of 18:00 to 20:00, while not grouped In Ironforge or Orgrimmar, kill 15 guards within 5 seconds and then survive 30 minutes in the zone without dying (And stealthing).

While the opposing team holds at least two bases in Eye of the storm, grab the flag, get 10 killing blows and then visit each of the four bases without dropping the flag or dying.

Hi Again!
Damn, almost a year of inactivity of the blog.. thats quite a blast. Well anyhow, to type down some of my last thoughts. Yeah, I know, i’ve promised a movie - that is still in plans, but due to my laziness the works on it have been extremely slow and due to my crap pc, I’m not gonna be able to record anymore footage until i get a new one, which should be pretty soon.
Now about the plans, they have changed a bit. The movie is not going to be of my level 80 character. Yes, I know, It’s quite a surprise. But, I have another paladin. He’s level 60 and has awesome gear and his oneshotting of everything should be pretty entertaining.
Check the Rxr - 60 Twink Trailer, you will know what I’m talking about. No, that guy is not me, neither I have anything to do with him, but we have a lot in common. Anyhow, wish me luck in making my next movie!

Akcope 4 to come?
First, I want to apologize for the recent unactivity of the blog, I was kind of busy in RL and stuffs.
The thing I want to talk about is my next PvP movie. So far I can’t promise it to come as i got some quite bad technical issues and hassle in RL, but I can definetly promise you that I will try.
There has been a lot of great paladin PvP movies on WCM lately (Kamil, Tehseus, Mobywan) and I’d like to thank these guys for actually making me want to make another movie (As making of the third one was really depressive and I thought that i will never ever make another again). It will sure be a challenge to make a good movie with all these around, but I want to work hard on it.
And how i want to improve ?
First off, the video quality is gonna be way better, while keeping the same size. (I am changing to Fraps from GameCam, which is causing me the most technical problems, as in, space on HDD lols)
Editing
I want to say that I have done a terrible editing on my previous movies. That won’t happen in this one.
Entertainment
I want to add an original entertaining element into the movie, maybe some humor, maybe something else, I have no idea at this time.
Gameplay
No more clicking! Yup thats right! You wont see me act crap and click a thing in my next video.
No more backpedaling - or less of it. I know that many of you hate it, so I will try to stop doing it. It’s a nasty habit I know >_<
Faster play - I was quite slow in my previous movies, I worked on that already
Content
The movie is going to be a pure Battleground / World PvP movie. Yup, that’s right! No more boring arena!
And release date?
Oh, I don’t know. As i said, I had some RL hassle and technical problems lately, so it could take long, or not even come at all (But I will do all to make sure that doesn’t happen). All i can say is to stay tuned and keep eye on my blog for the updates on status of my movie!
I will start to work on it tommorow, so wish me the best of luck!
