I have suggested WCM to remake the blog system and forum system to get more WCM-ish like and Uzbeki noticed it and replied, they will work on it.

However, do not expect anything awesome. Just a decent editing job, I could say, so far my best and hardest work.

Also, I have learned how to render, so the movie will be out in two versions:

1) Same rendering as my previous movies, but better quality as this is done by Fraps and i haven’t pre-rendered the files to reduce size. The size of the final product stays the same.

2) High Quality - This is where the nice stuff comes in, the quality should be almost same as if you were playing the game. The size of the final product should be about 900mb / 20 min.

Instead of whining endlessly, let me just sum up the problems here:

1) Troubles logging in. Sometimes I need to put the password in several times to actually get into the system, and yes, I type it right and in the proper case.

2) Letters. The blog sometimes randomly transforms some letters into a diffirent ones after I post, and trust me, it is not fun fixing it in long posts.

3) Links. Honestly, do any of the Blog clickables really work? Have you tried getting into previous entries or the archive? I cannot even see what I have posted in the past myself.

4) Emoticons. These don’t work. When I use an emoticon, the emoticon is not where it should be. It is moved at the begining of the line instead.

5) Header. What the hell? If you check it now it is blank. I tried to re-upload it, but it keeps being blank, please hit me if its just me >_>

6) Spam filter. There is no spam filter in comments so I have to filter them out and approve them myself… 20 spam comments a day, click per spam comment, managable, however annoying. One of the lesser problems.

7) Problems with the formatting. The posted text doesn’t usually look the same when I write it.

Minor problems in the system, sometimes my unfinished saved posts just dissapear from the database. Thank god i save them on my PC too.

Anyway, you see that the problems are getting really bad, the latest one is the header, that kinda winded me up but meh. I will continue posting here until Akcope 4 is made at least, and then see if I want to change. Anyway, writing a post about that right now.

PS: I think that Erunno feels the same way.

Anyway, as I said, I won’t title the movie as Akcope 4, I have decided to call it otherwise. The current possibilities are:

Akcope 3,5 : Level 60 Madness
Akcope 3,5 : Back to 60
Akcope 3,5 : Clearing bg’s (As someone suggested in comments It’s quite a fitting title as you will see)

If you have some suggestions for a name, feel free to post them here! I am always open to people’s suggestions!

I have been playing world of warcraft since ït’s very launch (over 4 years by now) and been enjoying it most of the time. My main is a Field Marshal paladin that has seen every single patch of this game and it’s progress - it’s speeding up, we could say.

Back in pre-tbc, I got my field marshal rank during the patch where the PvP ranks came, or the patch later, I am not sure about that, I also done a little PvE and was lucky to have a guild tolerant enough to give a ret paladin bonereaver’s edge (Back then the top 2h sword, from Ragnaros).

Now I am getting to the point; apart from the AQ patch where I got Earthstrike, Windshear cape and Kalimdor’s revenge, I haven’t replaced any gear for FOURTEEN months, and my gear still was the top, or equal to the top pve gear from AQ 40, which if you don’t count naxxramas, was pretty much the best accessible gear back then, and as not many guilds got far in nax, even over the months, AQ 40 set was pretty much the best thing that people have been running around in. It was a little bit better than my rank 13 set, but very close to equal.

These fourteen months were the months where I had the most fun in World of Warcraft during the entire 4 + years I spent on this game. Why? I simply didnt feel like I HAD TO PLAY THE GAME. With good gear, and slow patches that were on distant horizon, I didn’t have to worry about what instance or battleground I gotta farm to be top gear again. During these 14 months, I was doing battlegrounds, world pvp, social events, everything that was fun, all purely for fun, and not for the purpose of me getting a gear upgrade.

However, when TBC came, the real sprint started. Seasons were coming every couple of months, and I started to feel like I HAVE TO FARM THE HONOR and have to gain the rating. There was no fun in that. Mind that this doesn’t apply only to PvP… I would say that with the current achievement system this applies to PvE way more than PvP… but I will get to that…

Anyhow, gear replacing is of course right, and keeps you entertained in the game, gives you something to do, of course. But DOES IT HAVE TO KEEP COMING FASTER AND FASTER? I am doing nothing else than replacing gear, nothing else I tell you. Pre-TBC speed of new content was fine.. this is getting ridiculous.

Lets look at this thing:

Season 3 duration : 7 months, 1 Week

Season 5 duration : 4 months, 1 week

That is a ridiculous speed up, and i am only comparing TBC with WotLK, I will get to compare it with vanilla soon.

So yeah. Everyone was happily replacing his tiers or gladiator sets and never realised how repetetive was this game getting, more likely, it was getting more ADDICTING. Finally i got to the next point. Nothing much to say about it. Obviously, the more the players are addicted and urged to replace their virtual epics, the lesser chance is that someone quits the game. Smart move, blizzard.

In WotLK, this addicting urge and the feeling that you have to play the game has gotten even more ridiculous! Dailies, which already were in tbc, have grown into a whole new dimension! The limit of the dailies has gotten up to 25 per day, and the dailies are everywhere! Some people even log in into the game every day just because they feel urged to do dailies and log off!

Here is our next comparation: Amount of patches-out of that content patches, and the duration of expansions.

World of Warcraft Vanilla

39 patches, out of that 12 major, out of that 3 brought new high-end content to the game.

Duration: 2 years and 3 months.

World of Warcraft : The Burning Crusade

27 patches, out of that 4 major, out of that 3 bought new high-end content to the game. (However, notice that TBC had first four tiers of raiding implemented at start already and were sorted by attunements).

Duration : 1 year and 11 months.

World of Warcraft : Wrath of the Lich King

So far:

12 patches, out of that 1 major and content-bringing. Only two more are planned, and then again, a new expansion hits(Already, lol?)

Duration : 7 Months so far

I think I have made myself pretty much clear about this. Please, let us have fun in this game again. Do not make us feel like we have to play it.

Anyhow, after realising that, I decided that I will take no more AV clips, and will focus on WSG and AB, where I will fight high levels. Already got a clip of me killing 3 level 65+’s. I will try to make the movie the best quality possible.

Also, the movie probably will not be called Akcope 4, as it is not of my level 80 character on which all these movies have been made. Not sure about the name yet, but as soon as I make one up, I will let you know.

Last thing - I have recently recorded and finished a comedy movie, it will be coming shortly in the weekend - Stay tuned!

This will be my first movie recorded with Fraps, I had to reduce the gfx settings of wow so my PC could take it, until now, everything was recorded on gamecam, so it had pretty shitty quality, but that is not the case of this movie.

The movie will be a paladin one, but it will feature my level 60 paladin twink. He has the top gear and no longer obtainable mace Might of Menethil, so the movie will feature some nice faceroll.

This alt is on Magtheridon-EU, it is a server which has pretty nice 60 activity in it, and I have migrated here from my main’s server Thunderhorn, where the twink activity has gotten too serious, everyone goes engineering and that is just not the fun anymore.

I got 4 clips for the movie from today’s recording, of which i will definetly use at least two, I might not use the other two after reviewing for the best possible quality of the movie, but I need to think about that first.

I will also release a small trailer a week or so before the release of the full movie, so look forward to the movie, if you like faceroll critting and 5v1 situations, probably with some nice editing!
